Curriculum
To implement an academic philosophy designed to meet
the needs of individual students, Westmont offers a curriculum
that includes a broad spectrum of disciplines. Students study
under a faculty deeply committed to research and scholarly activity
as well as to personalized teaching.
The following pages feature descriptions of Westmont's majors,
programs, and courses. They reflect the College's conviction
that its curriculum must be comprehensive in nature yet specific
enough to promote a breadth of perception and a depth of understanding.
Within the framework of a strong liberal arts emphasis, Westmont
provides opportunities for students to build a foundation for
specialized education and to expand vocational horizons.
