  problems with the term "intellectual property"
    confusion with natural rights vs. statutory rights

What is the history of copyright?
  1476: Caxton introduces printing press to England
  1557: royal charter to the Company of Stationers of London
  1709: Statute of Anne: English copyright act of 1709
  1790: US first federal copyright act (14 years)

What is the Sony Bono Copyright Extension Act?
  Author's life plus 75-95 years
  No new material entering public domain until Jan 1, 2019.
  (copyright duration vs patent -- 20 years)

How does the internet factor into the questions?
