Coby Harmon began his career in public accounting by joining the audit practice of the international firm of Arthur Andersen (Los Angeles, CA and Tulsa, OK). Upon returning to California, he joined the Santa Barbara firm of Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf. For the past twenty years he has taught accounting in the Department of Economics at the University of California Santa Barbara and currently serves on the Accounting Program Executive Committee at UCSB.
Coby Harmon has been involved in an extensive list of publishing teaching materials which includes a study guide and other text supplements for eight different accounting textbooks. He is an active member of the CPA/Law Society of Ventura County serving as a meeting moderator and member of the scholarship committee. He also participates as a panelist for the California Society of CPAs.
