Practicum - Internships
For over 30 years, Westmont has enjoyed a strong working relationship with the local Santa Barbara business community in hiring current E+B students into a wide range of companies and positions. Dr. Newton heads the E+B practicum program, including recruitment, placement, and overseeing students as they formally integrate their coursework with their project responsibilities at work. Students can earn between 1-4 units toward their upper division E+B electives, working on average 10-12 hours per week for a typical 15-week semester.
