Specialization

Kelly Soifer is adjunct professor of internships related to non-profits and Christian ministry. Her research interests focus on young adults and their faith journeys, multilingual and multigenerational ministry with ethnic minorities in the United States, youth ministry, and 18th century Christian revivalism and its implications for the 21st century

Her career has included thirteen years with Young Life, an international outreach ministry, where she served as a Regional Director for the Central Coast of California. Additionally, she served as a youth pastor for fifteen years, and as a religious studies instructor and campus pastor at a Christian preparatory school. Kelly has written for Youthworker Journal, Fuller Youth Institute, the Center for Youth Ministry Training, Light & Life Magazine, has contributed to textbooks related to youth ministry, and works nationally as a consultant to churches. She studied at University of California at Santa Barbara (BA, English, Phi Beta Kappa) and Fuller Theological Seminary (MA, Theology).
