Paige Tautz is an award-winning performer, and theatre maker. She is a graduate of Westmont College ('14) where she studied theatre and music. As a student, she was a two-time Irene Ryan Acting Award semi-finalist and received the Outstanding Senior Award for her class. In Santa Barbara, she's performed with the Lit Moon Theatre Company, Elements Theatre Collective, Ratatat Theater Group, the UCSB Theatre Department, Playfest & Prism Productions, and the Piano Kitchen Radio Players.

In 2014, Paige became a member of the Lit Moon Theatre Company, an award-winning theatre ensemble that makes work for local and international audiences. She has performed annually with Lit Moon at the International Bitola Shakespeare Festival in Macedonia since 2014. Paige is an original member of the Santa Bitola Theatre Company, a collaboration between the Lit Moon Theatre Company and the Bitola National Theatre Company. The company has played both at the International Festival in Bitola as well as the Shakespeare@400 celebration in Santa Barbara. Other credits with Lit Moon include Richard III, Julius Caesar, The Glass Menagerie, The Lover, The Cherry Orchard, and Peer Gynt.

Paige collaborates with theater makers Diana Lynn Small ('09) and Heather Johnson ('10) on a two woman show called Mad & Goat. In 2016, Paige received a Santa Barbara Independent award for her performance. Since 2013, Mad & Goat has performed at CoHo Productions SummerFest in Portland, Brooklyn Yard in New York, Denver Crossroad Theater, Fort Collins Fringe Festival, The Cohen New Works Festival in Austin, Westmont College Festival Theatre, and will play at Salvage Vanguard Theater in Austin this October. In August 2017, the Mad & Goat team, along with Marie Ponce ('10) and James Hapke ('09), were recipients of The Ground Floor artist residency in Berkeley, California. They began co-creating a new project, House Play, which will premiere October 2018 with Salvage Vanguard Theater.

Her directing and playwrighting projects have been exhibited as part of the Westmont College Fringe Festival. Directing credits include Venus's Daughter by Kristen Idazak, Nuts! by Stephanie Farnum, and The Future is Female devised by Paige and her cast. Playwrighting credits include shorter works, such as Wonderbread, Orange Juice Blues, and dogs, as well as the full-length piece, BIRDmama.

In her upcoming theatrical season, Paige will play Nora in Lit Moon Theatre Company's A Doll's House, and will continue workshopping House Play in Austin and various places in California. With pals Michael Bernard and Jim Connolly, Paige co-co-hosts Santa Barbara's only late-night stupid and fun variety show, Live From The Piano Kitchen, which you can catch every second Saturday of the month. In her spare time, she makes long-form improv with the Piano Kitchen Radio Players, and makes delicious vegan specialties in her own kitchen.
