Miller's award-winning costume designs have been produced for Opera Santa Barbara, UCSB Opera Department, Ensemble Theatre Company, as well as Santa Barbara Theatre Company where he designed "Peter Pan", "Doubt" and "Our Town". Other highlights include "Ellis Island" for the Santa Barbara Symphony, "Pagliacci," "Cosi Fan Tutte," "Rigoletto," and "The Masked Ball" for Opera Santa Barbara and "David and the Giant" for Ensemble Theatre Company.
Miller serves as an Adjunct Instructor in Stage Craft/Costume Design and has been the Resident Costume Designer for Westmont College where he designed "The Mariner," "Antigone," "You Can't Take it With You," "Beauty Bomb," "The Bald Soprano", "Servant of Two Masters" , "Pirates of Penzance", "33 Swoons", "Peer Gynt" and "Antigone" among a dozen others. He has designed faculty-choreographed dance pieces as well. Also a free-lance stage director, Miller holds a BA in theatre from Seattle Pacific University and an MA in Theatre and Dance from California Stage University, and lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, 15 year old daughter, and 12 year old twin boys.
