SOCIOLOGY CLUB

The Sociology Club provides the opportunity for students to interact with each other and with professors in an informal setting. It also gives students who are interested in sociology or anthropology as a possible major or minor an opportunity to get acquainted with the department. Along with the fellowship that the club provides, it also allows students to explore various career options. Students provide leadership for the club.

The Sociology Club also sponsors events. The club has a collequium by Patricia Green, founder of Rahab Ministries in Thailand. This ministry helps girls and young women leave prostitution and begin a new life. The club has also organized a field trip to the California Men's Penal Colony in San Luis Obispo and visted the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles.
