VBS (Vacation Bible School)
VBS teams will be doing a week-long children's program including crafts, music, games and skits with the intent of showing Christ's love to the children of Ensenada and building relationships with the local church and community. Note: VBS is in need of guys, so if you're a guy and like kids, please consider doing VBS! |
Praise and Worship
The team will partner with the Mexican worship team to lead prayer and worship at various events. The team will also visit different sites to pray and encourage the body of Christ. |
Kitchen
The Kitchen team works together behind the scenes to prepare meals for the rest of the Potter's Clay teams. This includes preparing sack lunches, cooking dinners and breakfast, and all set up and cleaning. |
Medical/Dental
The Med/Dent team travels together to different sites every day and puts on free general medical, dental, and optometry clinics. Students work alongside volunteer doctors from both the states and Mexico, assist dentists, run the pharmacy, take vitals (triage), sterilize equipment, and organize patients waiting for treatment. |
Haircutting
Those on the hair-cutting team will be trained in cutting hair prior to PC week. During the week the team will be stationed at different sites and offer free hair cuts. No experience in haircutting is necessary. |
Construction
The construction team will be building 7-8 sites throughout the city. Most of the sites will be focused on constructing new homes for needy families connected with local churches. |
Sports
The sports team will be playing mostly soccer against some competitive teams in Ensenada. We will also compete in some basketball and volleyball games. |
