Linda Jones Perry '63 never thought about abortion until she got pregnant. At the time, she taught education classes at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and her husband, Dennis '64, did postdoctoral work in nuclear chemistry at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Much to her surprise, some feminist faculty members criticized her for having a child. Full Story

As a Westmont student, Janet Jones Lamkin '81 developed an interest in politics that has never waned. For more than 20 years, she has combined her majors in political science and business in a varied and successful career. After a successful career selling financial products, he started his own company, Cornerstone Financial Services, in 1997 and raised venture capital.
