Where we’ve come from

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be a part of your educational journey at Westmont.  I grew up on a small cattle farm in the central part of California (anyone know the down of Denair?) and moved to the central coast during my formative pre-teen years. Since that move I have never left this part of California, spending my undergraduate days here at Westmont (class of 2000) and my graduate school days at California Lutheran University (class of 2004).

Why we’re here

I wear many hats here, the biggest one being my service as the director of Academic Advising and Disability Services. This is a great little department where you can get answers to all of your burning advising or disability questions! I also serve as an adjunct professor within the Psychology department, and to top all of that off, I am a Westmont alum.

Why we stay

The best thing about my job is that I get to work one on one with students, be they my advisees, students with disabilities or anyone who has academic concerns and just does not know where to go. It is that type of interaction which I LOVE. Since I have spent the last 11 years of my life at Westmont, I know a thing or two about how this place works, and the important people within it. So give me a call, shoot me an e-mail and let me know how I can help you!
