B. Introductory Period
The first 90 days of an employee's time at Westmont constitutes an
introductory period. This is a time for training and learning the
job responsibilities and expected performance standards. During this
period, paid time-off will accrue but may not be used by non-exempt
employees until the period is successfully completed. Employees will
receive a written performance evaluation either prior to or at the
time of completion of the period. Completion of this period does not
guarantee the right to continued employment. During or following completion
of this period the employee or the college may end the employment
relationship for any reason at any time.
