Orientation Staff
Orientation Coordinator
Amy Gammelgard

Greetings incoming Westmont students! Building relationships with students and being part of their journey as they grow, develop, and learn throughout college brings me great joy. I get the privilege of advising many student leaders on campus (including Orientation Team) and getting to know many others along the way. We have been planning a stellar Orientation program for you all and I am thrilled to be a part of welcoming you to your new home soon. I eagerly anticipate your arrival...I hope you are excited too!
Orientation Assistant
Lexi Aprahamian
Hello all you wonderful first-year students! My name is Lexi Aprahamian and I am the Orientation Assistant this year to the wonderful Amy Gammelgard (see above). I graduated one whole year ago (time really does fly) with a B.A. in Religious Studies (Biblical Studies emphasis) from Westmont College--your future home! I am originally from Corona, CA, my favorite movies are, of course, the Toy Story trilogy, and I absolutely love getting to know new students such as yourselves. I was part of Orientation Team my senior year at Westmont, and then graduated and became the Orientation Assistant for Orientation 2010. I now work full-time as the Campus Visit Coordinator in the Admission Office here at Westmont, and decided that I would continue participating in this awesome event and take on the Orientation Assistant role once more for Orientation 2011! I am so thrilled with the opportunity I have been given to work with this year's Orientation staff again and welcome you all to your new home and family here at Westmont! Blessings as you and your family get ready for this exciting adventure!
2011-2012 Orientation Team
Aaron Barnes

Aaron Barnes is entering his senior year and he is very excited about this. He is majoring in both Chemistry and Biology and hopes to attend medical school after graduation. When Aaron was young he lived in various places such as Texas and Scotland, but has since come to call Anchorage, Alaska home. Beckoned by the Alaskan wilderness, Aaron has developed a deep love for adventure and the outdoors. He greatly enjoys fishing, hiking, snowboarding, and running, but has developed a new love since being at Westmont: beach volleyball. Aaron loves getting to know new people and has an outstanding invitation for anyone who would like to join him in his escapades! Welcome class of 2015, God has great things in store for you!
Bryan Cox

I am a fun-loving and adventure-seeking individual who finds joy in the ordinary as well as the exraordinary. Eccentric is a word that might describe me, balanced by an insatiable desire to watch, play, and tweet about all that is sports. I enjoy learning in all aspects of life, ranging from Bill Simmons to C.S. Lewis. I invite you to join me in any of my swashbuckling adventures.
Anne Lundberg
Hello future friends! My name is Anne Lundberg and I will be a senior at Westmont. I am a Liberal Studies Major and will be in the Credential Program this year. I am from NorCal and grew up in Oroville, but I have really enjoyed adjusting to Southern California life. You can find me “studying” at the beach, playing on an intramural volleyball or basketball team, helping with kids at an elementary school, horseback riding and swinging a mallet for the Westmont Club Polo Team or waiting in line for a delicious bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch in the DC! I love Orientation and can’t wait to welcome all of you into the amazing Westmont Community!!
Danny Fisher

Hey, how are you doing? My name is Danny Fisher, signing on for my last year here at Westmont. Believe it or not I am from CDA, Idaho, which is an awesome place. I am a Business major with high hopes for the future. After I am graduate from this wonderful institution I plan on doing a little modeling, acting in a few movies, writing, directing and producing movies, then maybe write a book or two, record a few platinum rock n roll albums, and eventually running for President of the United States in 2032. True story. I am an extremely gifted electric guitar player (for anyone hoping to start a band), and I love being active and creative. Example: I painted my own muscle car ('72 Nova) and it looks awesome. I am on the O-Team so that I can meet you and be there for you if you need it; maybe we'll learn a thing or two from one another, maybe not, I'm not a very good teacher (actually I am). Either way this first year for you here at Westmont is going to be Legen - wait for it - dary, Legendary.
David Wolford
David Wolford spent the first half of his life in Congo and Zambia, Africa, and from there he moved to Irvine, CA. David will be a senior this year, finishing up both his Econ/Business and Spanish majors. He loves to play volleyball, go to the beach and hike, and he would love to enjoy these fun activities with you. David will always say yes to an adventure, so don't be afraid to ask! He is so excited to meet you all this fall at Orientation and can't wait to share the wonderful Westmont experience with you. And last but certainly not least, David thinks mustaches are really cool.
Megan Mooty

I am a Senior at Westmont from Edina, Minnesota! I am majoring in Communication Studies and am loving every class of it! I love to hang out with family and friends, golf, and travel! I joined Orientation team because I was a freshman R.A last year and I know what a positive impact orientation can have on a Freshman's first impression of Westmont. I also love getting to know people, making people feel welcomed and comfortable, and getting excited about a new year!
