Orientation Assistant

Megan Lovingier
Meg LovingierMy name is Megan Lovingier. I am a twenty-two year old from Rossmoor, CA. I graduated from Westmont last May as a Sociology Major, with an emphasis in Human Services. I will continue to live in Santa Barbara for the next year or two working at a youth crisis shelter for kids 10-17, in addition to working with Michele as her Orientation Assistant. In the future I plan on attending graduate school to get a masters in social work.

During my four years at Westmont I committed to getting involved in the community on campus and took advantage of what Westmont has to offer. I also embraced the Santa Barbara community by working in a junior high youth group for two years, in addition to having two internships working with different organizations.

I was on the Orientation Team my junior and senior years at Westmont and loved every minute of it. I love working with orientation because you get to be the first to welcome new students and their parents to Westmont. I am so excited to be a part of Orientation again this year as the Orientation Assistant. I can't wait to meet you and welcome you to the family!
