The Orientation Team
Director of Campus Life
Angela D'Amour
Greetings New Students! My name is Angela D'Amour and I serve as the Director of Campus Life where I oversee the Orientation program, among other responsibilities. I originally hail from Beverly, MA, however, Santa Barbara has begun to feel like home in the five years since I arrived. I spend my time outside of work building train tracks with my son, tickling my daughter, dreaming with my husband, and getting out for great trail runs. A highlight of my year is the day that you arrive on campus in August. You bring with you passion, potential and amazing possibilities. You are in for a fabulous adventure at Westmont and the Orientation Team and I can't wait to set you up for success.
Orientation Interns
Nick Andersen
Hi! My name is Nick Andersen. I'm a Religious Studies major and I come from the greatest city in America: Fresno, CA. Unfortunately though, as I write this to you I am sitting outside on my apartment patio in the Santa Barbara summer sun. It's a tough life I live--really it is. I am a quiet and peace-loving person, and I love nothing more than a nice cup of coffee or tea and good, thoughtful conversation. I hope one day to be a pastor or a professor or maybe even both at the same time! I'm so excited for Orientation this year! It's gonna be a real good time. I can't wait to get to know each of you and hear your stories and thoughts and views on life. I would like to extend an open invitation to all of you to join me in any sort of shenanigans that I happen to find myself participating in.
Jill Wilber
Hey future Warriors! My name is Jillian Wilber and I am from the greatest town in America (yes, even better than Fresno): Fillmore, CA. I am a Senior History major and will be working towards earning my teaching credential in my final year at Westmont. I am a member of the Women’s Basketball Team and in my free time I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, shopping (a little too much) and eating delicious food! I love meeting new people, going on Santa Barbara adventures and laughing uncontrollably. I love Orientation and I am so excited to meet every one of you and welcome you to Westmont!
2011-2012 Orientation Team
Paige Greene
Hello future Westmont students! My name is Paige Greene, I am a senior at Westmont and my major is Liberal Studies. I am originally from South Denver, Colorado but have been enjoying the last couple years near the ocean! I love being outside whether it's in the mountains or by the ocean. I enjoy crafting so you can find me crocheting, knitting, needle pointing, or searching for something else to keep my hands busy. I have spent the last summer baking at a little bakery in Santa Barbara, so if you like baked goods, talk to me! In the fall of 2011 I spent the semester in New Zealand learning ecology and sustainability while enjoying God's beautiful creation! I can't wait to meet you all as we start Orientation and continue friendship into the year!
Peter Huang

Peter will be a junior this fall hailing from a far off land called Eugene, OR. Peter is a Biology major, enjoys hiking, intramural sports, the beach, and talking in the third person. Peter has enjoyed being a part of Orientation as a freshman and volunteer in the past and is excited at the prospect of sharing these experiences with you and making Orientation an awesome time. Peter would like to extend an invitation to talk about how great the Ducks are at football or just simply hang out. He is very excited at the prospect of getting to know you all and working with the rest of the O-Team to make Orientation a wonderful and helpful first experience as you are welcomed into life at Westmont.
Ricky Lopez
Hey! I am a Mathematics major here at Westmont and I love every minute of it (note: I isn't smarter than you, I simply likes math and I'm terrible at English)! I would like to be a High School math teacher for a few years while I get my Master's degree in higher education to become a Resident Director later. I am from Los Angeles County (Norwalk to be specific), and I enjoy long walks on the beach while drinking Blenders and talking. I praise God as much as I can and would love to hear your story because it's a beautiful one! Embrace yourself and your story, because you're about to embark on a glorious, bumpy ride!
Brittney Walker

Hey! I just met you, and this is crazy, so here's my number (559-230-9419) ... Call me maybe? My name is Brittney Walker and I will be a senior at Westmont. I am a Communication Studies major and Religious Studies minor. I am from the beautiful state of Colorado, but love being five minutes from the beach. People seem to like me because I'm polite and I'm rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks. I have loved my three years at Westmont and have been blessed by an amazing community that challenges and encourages me. I loved serving Westmont as a first-year RA in Page Hall last year. I just returned from Mayterm where we traveled through the Middle East, Ireland, and England. My team and I are thrilled to be able to share some good times with each of you at Orientation this year! I am so excited for you to learn and grow as you begin your beautiful journey at Westmont.
