Getting to Know Audrey
Education: B.A. in Sociology/Social Work, Gordon College; Masters in Social Work, University of Denver
Hometown: Windsor, VT
How did you end up at Westmont? I attended Westmont's San Francisco Urban Program as a consortium student during college and worked there after graduate school. I felt led to apply to RD positions after that and was grateful there was an opening at Westmont that felt like a great fit!
Favorite thing about Westmont? The students -- they are morally and spiritually awake which makes it a joy to work with them.
What makes you laugh? My husband, my dad, my friend Walker, Bryan Regan -- any quick wit pointing out irony in daily life!
Favorite book in your library? Keeping the Sabbath Wholly, Return of the Prodigal Son, Team of Rivals
Where is a place that you like to vacation? I love going to Prince Edward Island in Canada.
What states and/or countries have you lived in and for how long? I have moved around quite a bit -- IL, KS, TN, VT, MA, CO, and now CA. It's a joy for Santa Barbara to feel like home but also to have community across the country and a free place to stay just about wherever I travel!
