How did you end up at Wesmont? Westmont picked me! As I was finishing up my master's degree, I knew I wanted to continue as a Resident Director at an institution that pursues excellence in higher education and highly values the integration of faith and learning. I am amazed at God's hand at work in bringing my husband and I to Westmont!

Where is a place you like to vacation? The Adirondacks in upstate New York. There are 46 high peaks that are a great challenge, good backpacking, and fabulous views (as long as its not cloudy).

What states and/or countries have you lived in and for how long? I lived in New York State until 2008. I spent one semester in college living in San Jose, Costa Rica while participating in the Latin American Studies Program. From 2008-2011 I lived north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania while getting my Master's. Now I will have lived in California since the summer of 2011.

Favorite book(s) in your library? Abba's Child by Brennan Manning; Prodigal God by Tim Keller; and pretty much any book by Henri Nouwen.

What hidden skill or talent do you have that most people wouldn't guess? I play the cello. I started in 5th grade after first trying the violin, but wanted an instrument I didn't have to hold up :)
