Getting to Know Anna
Education: B.A. Wheaton College; M.A. Wheaton College
Hometown: Patagonia, Argentina
How did you end up at Westmont? Because of a long series of events which all pointed me towards this amazing place.
Favorite thing about Westmont? The camaraderie between students, staff, and faculty; visiting students who are abroad and then welcoming them back home; hiking trails around the mountains behind campus; and the changing colors of the ocean.
What makes you laugh? My husband, Jeremy, and my very clumsy self.
What states and/or countries have you lived in and for how long? I was born in Kentucky and lived there for 5 years. Then I lived in Costa Rica for 1 year and Argentina for 14 years. I most recently lived in Chicago for 7 years.
Where is a place that you like to vacation? Where there are mountains and family.
What is your favorite thing to do away from Westmont? Traveling to countries or cities that I have never before visited. Culture shock is something that reminds me that I am alive and that "home" is wherever my husband is currently standing.
