How did you end up at Westmont? I first came as a Freshman in 1992! Fast-forward a few years (like 15) and upon returning from a year of living in intentional community in Ecuador, found God creating just enough space for a return stint at a college which I had loved.

Favorite thing about Westmont? People earnestly seeking Jesus; students who want to grow and be pushed.

What makes you laugh? My wife, my brothers, Will Ferrell, commercials with monkeys.

What makes you cry? Stories about fathers and sons; my family; Cat’s In The Cradle song by Jim Croce.

Favorite college memory? Super late nights with friends, scheming about a prank, or Spring Sing, or simply delaying the inevitable paper that was due the next morning.

Favorite book in your library? The Brothers K; Lord of the Rings (trilogy); Mere Christianity.

What is your favorite thing to do away from Westmont? Only one?! Spend time with friends and family, travel, surf.

What states and/or countries have you lived in and for how long? Ecuador: 2 years; California: 32 years; time at Westmont: priceless.
