Surplus Furniture
The most readily available surplus furniture is the Steelcase “Avenir” line, in the grey “Dawn” paint color and the “grey/white “Coffee” laminate finish.
Currently there is a considerable amount of this furniture available for re-installation in other areas. However, we will probably have to order some connection parts.
It is very important that you note the schedule for projects to be completed in the Summer of 2008. Please also note that due to the pending removal of the storage garage for construction of the new residence hall, this furniture may not be available after this summer. Get it while you can!
If you would like to discuss a possible installation plan, please submit a Work Order, using the “SURPLUS” category. For the work order description, just put "potential surplus instalaltion." As soon as I am able, I will contact you to discuss your need, start a project file with the plan we come up with, and get an installation set up in coordination with other projects.
You are responsible for coordinating all other aspects of a project (painting, carpet, telecom, etc) with the appropriate departments.
