Lab Description:
The Social Entrepreneurship Research Lab is a course that engages students in a highly developed research project focused on gaining an understanding of the issues, tools and perspectives necessary for entrepreneurial thinking and engagement as well as cultivating new vocational, cross-cultural and critical-reflective skills in relation to a wide range of professional settings. 

It is an elective course within the Westmont in San Francisco curriculum and specifically designed for international students with interests in gaining an exposure to the innovative thinking and initiatives shaping the Bay Area/Silicon Valley context.

In this course students will be expected to take on a substantial reading & research based project in consultation with the course instructor and program coordinator focused on a particular issue, problem company or trend. Herein students will develop a learning plan including reading/writing assignments, weekly field site visits, informational interviews, oral presentations and a final integrative portfolio.
