Admitted Student Days

Cost:

$15 per student. Please pay online at the time of registration to secure your spot.

Payment may also be made by check and must be mailed at least 10 days in advance. Checks should be made out to Westmont College with the student's name and "Admitted Student Days" noted in the memo line. Please mail the check to the address below:

Who can attend:

All students who have applied and been admitted to Westmont for Fall 2013 are invited to attend. If you plan on attending with another friend who has also been admitted, please be sure they fill out a registration form of their own.

Admitted Student Days is not Orientation* and attendance at this event is not required. The Office of Admission simply wants to provide any prospective student an opportunity to visit campus and learn more about life at Westmont.

*Orientation will take place in August and all students who confirm their enrollment at Westmont will receive information from the Campus Life Office this summer.

Parents/Family:

Parents and other family members are welcome and encouraged to attend this event! There is no cost, although we invite you to join us for breakfast ($7/person) and lunch ($9/person) on Monday. Unless otherwise noted, parents are welcome to attend all scheduled sessions.

Parents are not required to attend and students can visit campus without a parent or other family members.

Housing:

On-campus housing with current students in the dorms will be assigned for all registered students. If you would like to request a friend to stay with, a current student to host you, or would like to stay in a specific dorm, please leave a note in the appropriate spot on the registration form and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

If you do not wish to stay on campus overnight, please let us know.

We do not have housing on campus for parents, but recommend these hotels.

What to bring:

Our dorms do not have extra beds, so be sure to bring a sleeping bag and pillow, along with toiletries, a towel, and anything else you will need for an overnight stay. You may also want to plan on bringing layers and comfortable shoes. All student meals while on campus are covered in the $15 cost to attend.

Transportation:

Transportation can be provided for students traveling without family members to and from Santa Barbara locations only. These locations include the Santa Barbara airport, train station, Greyhound station, and Santa Barbara Airbus stop. Students flying into Los Angeles International Airport without family members will want to consider a connecting flight to Santa Barbara or use the Santa Barbara Airbus.

Please provide all travel details one week prior to your arrival.

Auditions and Athletics:

Learning more about the various departments on campus is an important part of any college visit. It is best to directly contact the department you are interested in.
