Favorite Aspect of Westmont: Westmont does an impeccable job integrating thoughtful, intellectual academic work with faith and a strong desire to grow spiritually. Christus Primatum Tenens, Holding Christ Preeminent, is the college's motto and that rings true in every single part of the campus. Whether you are in class or Chapel, dancing at Spring Formal, or laughing while eating breakfast in the Dining Commons, Christ is always preeminent.
Favorite Place on Campus: Murchison Gym. This is where Westmont holds Chapel and, as a student, it is where I could find so many of the people I loved all in one place! From my first visit to Westmont's campus when I was a senior in high school to this day, I continue to learn much about our Father, His Kingdom, and the Church in this space. For all these reasons and more, I hold this place dear to my heart.
Favorite Things to Do: I am very blessed to be living in downtown Santa Barbara where most of my favorite things involve riding my bike, grocery shopping at the local Farmer's Market, walking to dinner, people watching, and reading a good book in one of the many local coffee shops. I am a huge fan of being active, so running, hiking, trail running, backpacking, and swimming are all favorite activities of mine.
