Favorite Aspect of Westmont: The people! Everyone - from the students, to the faculty, to the cooks in the Dining Commons. Westmont is a place full of people who genuinely want to know you more and help you become a better person. Since my first visit here, I have felt completely welcomed and loved. From the casual lunch chat to the late night doctrinal debate, the surrounding community is one that challenges each student to grow individually, academically and spiritually. It's a great place to meet friends, teachers and mentors.
Favorite Place on Campus: Hieronymous Lounge. This room, nestled in the corner of our Administration building, Kerrwood Hall, is one of the coziest places on campus. Our staff and students get the luxury of using this room for many meetings, interviews, and lectures. Hieronymous is usually dimly lit but has beautiful, tall windows, and is furnished with comfy couches, wood paneling, and giant portraits. The old books and rustic-looking lamps make me feel like I have traveled back in time 60 years. It is truly a remarkable and unique room.
My Hobbies: Watching and frequently quoting movies, anything Christmas related, spending time at the beach and going to Disneyland. However, my absolute favorite activity is spending time with my friends. I love to laugh and make other people laugh. Singing is another activity I enjoy- but mostly in my car so I can really belt it out!
