Favorite memory of being a Westmont student: Being a freshman Resident Assistant (RA) - helping incoming freshmen find themselves and their place at Westmont, and in God's Kingdom.
Favorite Place on Campus: Tennis court gardens.
My Hobbies: Glorifying God through music and dance ; baking, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
Favorite Aspect of Westmont: As a prospective Westmont student I was REALLY hesitant about the size and cultural diversity ratio of Westmont. I’m from a big Polynesian family, a large public high school, so a small Christian liberal arts college tucked away in the hills of Montecito didn’t seem like a comfortable fit. But something about Westmont really pulled on my heart strings. After attending Westmont, I realized that Westmont isn’t small at all, but intimate in every way. I have had professors offer extra one-on-one study sessions before a big exam. Those same professors offered prayers and words of encouragement during a family death. I’ve had friends drive for hours to sleep in hospital hallways with me and my family, staff members mentor and mold me, supervisors care for me and “prune” me; an entire community committed to helping me grow emotionally, academically, and spiritually. That’s why I believe in Westmont and why I work here.
