What is Westmont Preview Days?
Preview Days is a great opportunity for prospective students and parents to preview Westmont’s campus and learn more about what the college has to offer academically and in community. During your visit to campus you will spend time in a classroom, worship in chapel, interact with current students, eat in the Dining Commons, and more!
High school students, transfer students, and their parents are welcome to attend.

Important Details for Preview Days
Below are the items that will help you in planning your Preview Day Visit.
COST: $10.00 per student.
The $10 cost covers a student designed t-shirt and lunch for the prospective student while on campus. You may pay by credit card during online registration or with cash or check when you arrive on campus.
TRANSPORTATION: We are able to pick up students traveling without parents from the Santa Barbara airport, Amtrak station, and Greyhound Bus stop. Rental cars are available at the airport for students traveling with parents. If you will need us to pick you up from one of these locations, please let us know in advance by the Friday prior to the event.
ATTENTION PARENTS: Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend and see Westmont for themselves! While there is no cost for parents to attend, lunch in the Dining Commons on Friday afternoon will be $9 per person. Housing for parents is not available on campus, however there are hotel accommodations in close proximity to Westmont. Locations on Cabrillo Blvd and Coast Village Road are the closest to campus.
OVERNIGHT STAY OPPORTUNITIES: Limited spots for housing are available for students who wish to experience an overnight stay in the dorms during the March 23rd Preview Day.
- Overnight stays are limited to one night only; either Thursday night or Friday night.
- Seniors and out-of-state students traveling without family members will be given priority
- Overnight requests must be made at least one week in advance. Due to limited availablility there is no guarantee for requests made after March 16th.
- If you already have a friend or sibling on campus you would like to stay with, there is no need to go through the Office of Admission to make those arrangements.
- Please indicate your interest in arranging an overnight stay, including the night you wish to stay, in the Schedule My Visit section of the Preview Day registration form.
- We will contact you with details about your overnight stay once arrangements are made.
WHAT TO BRING: Overnight guests should plan on bringing a sleeping bag and pillow, towel, toiletries, and other personal belongings. Meals are covered in the cost; however the Bookstore will be open, so you may want to bring extra cash!
