WHAT IS 'PREVIEW DAYS'?
As the name of the event suggests, Preview Days is an opportunity for prospective students and parents to preview Westmont’s campus and learn more about what the college has to offer students academically and in community. You are invited to spend time inside a classroom, stay the night in a dorm, eat in the Dining Commons, worship in chapel, attend a faculty/student panel discussion, interact with current students, and more. Here is a tentative schedule of events.
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, personal items, and your questions about Westmont.
COST: $15.00 per student. This includes three meals and a t-shirt.
ATTENTION PARENTS: Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend, as there are several events planned specifically for parents. While housing is not available for parents on campus, visit this link for a list of Santa Barbara accommodation suggestions. Mention Westmont when making a reservation— some hotels will offer a discount! Dinner on Thursday evening and lunch on Friday are available to parents at a cost of $8 per adult.
TRANSPORTATION: Transportation can be provided for students only to and from nearby Santa Barbara locations only! If you plan on flying into Los Angeles, you may contact the Santa Barbara Airbus at 1-800-423-1618 or www.sbairbus.com to make a reservation for pick-up at your airline and delivery to a Santa Barbara stop and we can pick you up from there. Please indicate on your registration form if you will need transportation from the Santa Barbara Airport, the Amtrak or Greyhound station, or an Airbus drop-off location.
