Westmont College Student Association

The Westmont College Student Association (WCSA) is the student government organization for Westmont College. Elected members represent the student body to the rest of our campus community, including faculty, administration and trustees. Their primary role is to act as a representative body between students and these other constituencies. Thus, they serve as two-way liaisons, advocating for students while simultaneously working to complement the administration’s efforts to communicate the college’s initiatives and intentions back to our student population.

Westmont Student Ministries

Westmont Student Ministries (WSM), advised by the CLL and formerly known as Christian
Concerns, is the student-led organization that provides accountability, encouragement
and support to others. They do this by equipping student groups that seek to serve and
minister to the Westmont campus and/or the local community. WSM has two divisions:
Off-Campus Ministries and On-Campus Ministries.

Bringing the world to Westmont and taking Westmont to the world…

Emmaus Road seeks to inform the the campus about the work of the Holy Spirit throughout the world and to provide resources for students to respond to that work. In the fall semester, watch for the announcement of upcoming summer service projects and in the spring semester there will be the World Missions Conference. Look for other on campus seminars and events as well.

Spring Break in the City

The Spring Break in the City ministry reaches out to numerous organizations in the communities of Los Angeles and San Francisco. The majority of the ministry occurs the week of Spring Break, but it also seeks to raise awareness concerning inner-city issues throughout the year.

Westmont Activities and Clubs Council

The Westmont Activities and Clubs Council (WACC), working in tandem with WCSA,
plans campus-wide events and activities for our students. They organize retreats, plan
forums and panel discussions, blood drives, concerts, dances, barbecues, study breaks,
coffee houses, bring guest speakers to campus, and generally do whatever else brings
our students together to help foster community. They also oversee all of our non-athletic
student clubs on campus.

Spring Sing

Spring Sing is a major student production. This musical show/competition between
residence halls is one of Westmont’s longest standing traditions and most anticipated
annual events.
