  • More than a hundred workers lined up in October for a luncheon with the Westmont Board of Trustees
  • The workers were treated to a free lunch near Winter Hall as part of the celebration
  • Trustees, donors and others were invited to sign a beam during the topping off ceremony
  • Faculty members who lost their homes in the Tea Fire moved in less than a year after the blaze
  • Workers continue frame work near the Winter Hall central atrium
  • In one day, crews were able to lay sod on half of the new soccer field
  • The baseball field was ready for sod after it was leveled, sand slitted and had irrigation installed
  • Crews work on the irrigation system at the new track and field/soccer complex seating
  • Workers laid asphalt on the new track and let it cure before installing an all-weather surface
  • Crews are doing exterior stone work at Winter Hall
  • The setting sun shines in on the western pavilion of Adams Center
  • Workers are building the interior systems inside Adams Center for the Visual Arts
  • Crews bolt together sections of a 130-foot long bridge
  • A huge crane lifts the bridge high into the sky behind Van Kampen Hall
  • The crane slowly lowered the steel bridge over the creek
  • The bridge removes a constriction in the creek and creates a more accessible route through campus
  • The bridge connects the new residence hall site to the stone pine grove below the dining commons
  • New turf is laid at the baseball field, which will retain the name Russell Carr Field
  • The 130-foot long bridge features a six-foot-wide wooden deck
  • Workers smooth the concrete that has laid for the floor of the dugout
  • Crews have begun hanging netting behind home plate at Carr Field
