Weddings

Thank you for your interest in exploring Westmont as the site for your wedding ceremony. Prior to completing the Inquiry Form, please review the following guidelines for weddings at Westmont.
Locations
Wedding ceremonies may be held in the following locations on campus:
- Voskuyl Prayer Chapel (up to 40 guests)
- Voskuyl Prayer Chapel Lawn (up to 125 guests)
- Kerrwood Lawn (up to 300 guests)
- Magnolia Lawn (up to 100 guests)

Rates
Facility rental for all wedding locations is $500.00 with an additional $100.00 refundable deposit.
Dates
Wedding facilities are available during the summer months (May - August) to friends of Westmont with a faculty or staff recommendation. Facilities may also be made available exclusively to faculty, staff, students, and alumni throughout the year, depending on availability.
Services
The rental fee includes:
- Facility use for the ceremony.
- Facility use for the rehearsal.
- A changing room for the bride.
- Signs leading guests to the ceremony location.
Chairs are available for rent at $2.50 per chair, plus a $20 setup fee, when requested. Westmont does not provide decorations, ministers, or musicians. All services such as these must be arranged for through outside vendors.
Restrictions
- Wedding facilities are available exclusively for Westmont faculty, staff, alumni, students, and members of the Westmont community. Wedding ceremonies may take place on weekends only, depending on availability.
- The Westmont Conference Center does not provide locations for wedding receptions.
- Amplified sound is not permitted on campus due to county noise regulations and community life expectations.
- Use of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited.
- Open flame of any kind, including candles, is not permitted on the premises.
- Signs are not to be posted in the community leading guests to the Westmont campus. The route to Westmont is clearly marked from Highway 101. Signs on campus will be provided leading guests to the wedding location.
- Liability insurance is required for all events held on campus.
- All decorations must be removed prior to the wedding’s departure from campus.
- Birdseed and floral petals are the only two materials approved for throwing at the bride and groom after the ceremony.
