All those students who are interested in signing up for private music lessons this semester, such as piano lessons, voice lessons, violin lessons, trombone lessons, or guitar lessons, must come by the Music office and sign up! The deadline is the first Friday of the semester at 3:00 PM. If you delay, you will have to pay a late fee to the Registrar's office. All private and class lessons, whether audited or taken for credit, must be registered with the Music office and then the Registrar by the end of the first week of classes. In order to register for lessons, you must do the following. 1. Come to the Music office, located in Porter Hall (also known as the Theatre Building) Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. 2. Bring a copy of your class schedule to be left with the secretary and be ready to sign up for a day and time to meet with your future private instructor. 3. After receiving the registration slip from the music office, you must turn it in to the Registrar's office before 3:30 p.m. on Friday of the first week of classes. There are no exceptions. 4. Be prepared to begin your lessons the following week.
