Lori Call

Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations

Lori CallLori Call has been Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at Westmont College for the past eight years. In her professional capacity, she is responsible for building relationships between the college and small to billion-dollar foundations, businesses and individuals, while also assisting faculty with their programmatic and research funding needs. Her belief in Westmont’s potential and deep respect for the quality of Westmont’s faculty and students drive her to seek the necessary funding to enable the College community to flourish. She has been instrumental at Westmont in securing grants and gifts to significantly increase the college’s scientific equipment holdings, including a state of the art telescope on the Christian liberal arts campus. She has also led successful fund raising efforts toward scholarship support and construction of Phase One buildings, endowing the Gaede Institute for the Liberal Arts at Westmont and its programs, and has secured the funding for two endowed Chairs – one in the Social Sciences and one in the Natural Sciences.

Ms. Call holds a B.A. from Whitworth College in musical theatre. She then worked as a writer for two nonprofit organizations before earning a certificate in legal assisting and working as a paralegal for a dozen years, primarily running the offices of several sole practice attorneys. She holds a Certificate in Marketing and Fundraising for Nonprofit Organizations from California Lutheran University’s School of Business and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the prestigious Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. She has also offered pro bono services to individuals and nonprofit organizations as a consultant on fundraising matters.
