Nick Davis
Memorial Scholarship

Nick DavisThe Westmont administration and the family of Nick Davis have established the Nick Davis Memorial Scholarship to help deserving students meet educational expenses during their studies at Westmont. Nick, a senior economics and business major from Pacific Grove, Calif., died in a solo motorcycle crash in January near Westmont’s lower entrance.

“In the spirit of remembrance, many people have expressed a desire to do something in Nick’s honor, to memorialize his life and time at Westmont,” say Dr. Richard and Randi Danson, who co-chair the Parents Council. “Contributing to this scholarship fund provides a meaningful way to express empathy and support for Nick’s family. We hope the scholarship will provide a measure of solace to them, knowing that Nick’s legacy will be ongoing, assisting students in need at the school he loved.”

You may contribute to the scholarship fund by writing a check to Westmont College, noting “Nick Davis Memorial Fund” in the memo line.

Message from the President

President Gayle BeebeYour investment in Westmont helps us accomplish our distinctive mission as a rigorous undergraduate, liberal arts college with a deep Christian commitment where students live in a close residential community and develop a broad global perspective.

The genius of Westmont lies in connecting these five essential characteristics in a unique educational experience that transforms young men and women into leaders inspired to change the world for Jesus Christ.

Students grow deeper in all areas of their lives -- intellectual, spiritual and personal -- while they develop their talents, discover their calling and prepare for a lifetime of service meeting the great, pressing needs of our time.
