Professor Ken Kihlstrom, PhD

 

About Ken:kihlstrom

Kenneth Kihlstrom, professor of physics, joined the Westmont College faculty in 1984. He is also a research physicist at Superconducting Technologies Inc.

 

Professor Kihlstrom graduated from Stanford University in 1982, where he earned his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D.

 

He has had a number of funded proposals and received a patent.  He has also contributed publications on superconductivity and other subjects to various journals and scholarly reviews.

 

His honors include the Faculty Research Award  (Westmont College, 1988), and Teacher of the Year in the Natural and Behavioral Science (Westmont College, 1989, 1994, 2006).
