About Cheri:larsen

Cheri Larsen Hoeckley has been on the English Department faculty at Westmont for over ten years, arriving in Santa Barbara just after finishing her doctorate at UC Berkeley. She teaches Victorian literature and women writers. Recently, her research has focused on the draw of Catholicism for Victorian women from Protestant traditions, leading her into reflections on Protestant/Catholic relations among women and men today. She is an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA), and a member at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Together with her husband Chris, she learns a lot from their three daughters: Diana, Mackenzie and Estrellita.
