Professor Bruce A. Kimball of the Warner Graduate School of Education at the University of Rochester is among the foremost scholars in America on the Liberal Arts tradition. Among his numerous publications on liberal education are Orators and Philosophers: A History of the Idea of Liberal Education, The Condition of American Education: Pragmatism and a Changing Tradition, and “Liberal Education, Liberalism, and Political Culture” in Perspectives a publication of the Association of General and Liberal Education.
