Check-In June 20 (Monday)

3:30pm-4:30pm: Westmont Summer Scholars check in to Armington Residence Hall at the Deane Hall Parking Lot 20, on the Westmont campus (see map here). Westmont Summer Scholars will meet their Resident Assistants and roommates, and will check into their rooms.

5:00pm: Westmont Summer Scholars and their guests will tour the Westmont campus starting at Armington Halls.

6:00pm: Opening reception dinner for Westmont Summer Scholars, guests, professors, and residence life staff on Upper Magnolia Lawn.

7:30pm: Guests of Westmont Summer Scholars say goodbye!

8:00pm: Program orientation with Resident Director and Resident Assistants.

Check-Out July 8 (Friday)

8:30am-9:45am: Dorm Room Check-out

10:00am-11:00am: Closing Ceremony on Upper Magnolia Lawn. Family members and friends of Westmont Summer Scholars are invited to attend.

Weekdays

General Psychology will be held in Reynolds Hall Room 209.

International Politics will be held in Reynolds Hall Room 109.

Chapel will be held in the Voskuyl Prayer Chapel.

Resident Assistants will offer academic support, taking courses with students, overseeing study sessions and helping students develop techniques for research, reading and composition.

Westmont Summer Scholars will need to check in to the residence hall by 10pm each night. The academic lounge in the residence hall is available for late night study.

Weekends

Each Saturday during the program there will be a field trip to explore the enriching extracurricular opportunities in this culturally and academically vibrant region. On Sundays, transportation to several local churches will be provided.
