Bravissimo!, our third annual summer musical theatre camp, July 21–August 1. This two-week camp is offered for children entering the 6th–12th grades.
Over the course of the two-week session, children will have the opportunity to rehearse a fully staged music and theatre production culminating in a grand performance on the final day of camp. We are excited to announce that this summer’s production will be Music Man!
Each day of camp will begin with a large group activity engaging students in the process of creating and performing. The students will then rotate through workshops focusing on each of the artistic aspects of producing a full-scale performance. Instruction in healthy and age-appropriate singing technique, acting, set-design, costuming, and technical direction will be provided by credentialed music and drama specialists.
Bravissimo! will be held in Porter Hall, the heart of the Performing Arts on the picturesque campus of Westmont College, providing state of the art facilities for a professional production.
Campers should arrive at 9am with a water bottle and wearing comfortable clothes. A snack will be provided, and campers should bring their own sack lunch.
There will be 2 performances on the final Friday of camp, Aug 1st - 1:00pm and 7:00pm.
