The Reynolds Gallery at Westmont College is proud to present our 2007-2008 season. We will open the academic year with a show of the famed Miserere et Guerre ("have mercy" and "war") prints by Georges Rouault, one of the most celebrated sets of works by the famed French expressionist. We are privileged to have this wonderful exhibiton curated by the Museum of Biblical Art in New York City with the prints on loan from Robert and Sandra Bowden.
An ongoing exhibit this fall will be the sculptural works of Santa Barbara City College art professor Ed Inks, transforming our campus landscape into a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden.
For our Christmas show, we offer the second installment of our hugely popular Children's Book Illustrator's show, last shown in 2003. This year's illustrators include Gregory Manchess, Lisbeth Zwerger, and C.F. Payne. Please bring your kids, and join us for a special Saturday opening and booksigning with all three artists.
Our talented art department will take center stage in January with a special Fauculty show, honoring retireing professor and gallery director Tony Askew. Our students will then have their turn, with the Senior show.
Finally, we will end the year with the third installement of our special Views and Visions series, this year focusing on The Shoe. This will be a juried show for all area artists, featuring Westmont Alumnus Nathan Rohlander '92.

The Art Department at Westmont College educates some of the finest young talent in the country. The Reynolds Gallery at Westmont College continues its commitment to educating the community through its unique offering of exhibits and related lectures. We are dependent on you, our membership, for the ongoing financial support necessary to continue the broad range of our educational emphasis. We are continually grateful for your support and involvement.
We have a membership opportunity that will benefit the art students and those members who are eager to become more directly committed to their progress. By becoming a member at the Rembrandt Circle level, your gift will directly contribute to the education of a specific art student. Students receiving the benefit of your gift will be selected by the faculty based on their need, talent, and commitment to their Westmont art education. You will have the opportunity to meet the student and see firsthand how your gift has made a difference. Our highest donor level, the De Medici Circle, will significantly help to underwrite the costs of funding a gallery show. If you wish, your name will be prominently featured in all promotional materials as the show sponsor.
If you are interested in becoming a Gallery member, please contact Nicholas Price at (805) 565-6162 or at nprice@westmont.edu. The educational mission of the Reynolds Gallery at Westmont College could not be accomplished without your help. Thank you!
