It seems important to clearly define what the day will look like in order to help you make an informed decision whether you want to attend in person or watch the live Baccalaureate/Commencement simulcast via computer. The following might help you and your guests have a more enjoyable day.
We are expecting 3000 people on Friday and 5000 on Saturday. Both events will require attendees to arrive well in advance of the event because of traffic considerations. There will be adequate restrooms and wheelchair accessibility, although there may be a wait for their use. A Special Needs Parking Permit allows you to park closer than the majority of parking spaces. Our campus is hilly and a Special Needs Parking Permit does not necessarily mean that you will have a parking place that you might consider close to the field.
If you wish to request a Special Needs Parking Permit for either Baccalaureate and/or Commencement, please click here, and fill out the form. Requests must be made by April 1, 2016. We will mail you a Special Needs Parking Permit.
Please place your Westmont issued Special Needs Parking Permit on the driver’s side dashboard and the parking attendants will direct you to the disabled parking area.
