Student Success Meet the Peer Coaches
I’m a fourth year Behavioral Neuroscience and Biochemistry double major. Whether I’m running on the track and cross country team, playing beach volleyball, tennis, soccer, hiking, or bodysurfing, you can usually catch me outside enjoying the wonderful SB sunshine! I'm a member of the Trafficking Action Group (TAG) club and a big fan of my church Ocean Hills. My South African roots have inspired me to be an ostrich enthusiast and love chatting about cultural backgrounds. I know how hard it can be to balance so many different aspects of life as a college student so I am so pumped to get to share our stories and figure this thing out together!
(Mondays 9:15-10:15am, Wednesdays 3:00pm-5:00pm, and by request Wed & Fri 9:15-10:15am)
Hi! My name is Ben Buskirk and I am a senior biology major from Phoenix, AZ, though I grew up in Washington State. I think that one of the best ways to make the most of your time at Westmont and in Santa Barbara is to get involved in community both on and off campus, and I have met incredible people here in College Choir, Young Life-Capernaum, and on the Westmont in Cairo program. I also love some unstructured time at the beach, training for and running marathons with friends, and golden hour rock climbing on Gibraltar. I look forward to meeting you and talking about life at Westmont!
(Tuesdays 3:30pm-5:30pm)
Hello Westmont! My name is Julia Noble and I am a junior English major with a double minor in Psychology and Education. I'm from LA but I grew up in a small town near Yosemite National Park. I enjoy reading, writing, singing and traveling. I spent a semester abroad in England and Ireland where I got the opportunity to study literature in the places where it was written and I am excited to share stories. I am also a part of the Augustinian Program. I am so excited for the opportunity to serve our Westmont community as a peer coach and I look forward to encouraging and goal-setting with you. College life is a balancing act, let's work through it together.
