Entangled: Responding to Environmental Crisis

Featuring Madeleine Tonzi & GATS

January 12 - March 25, 2023

We are currently featuring two artists, Madeleine Tonzi and GATS, both creating work that responds to our current environmental crisis. Tonzi, a New Mexico native, is a painter and muralist whose works echo a changing landscape on the brink of perilous danger. GATS (Grafitti Against The System) is an internationally-famous Bay Area artist who draws on the urban environment as a source of inspiration. He responds to the architecture and detritus of the city, visualizing a new landscape. Both exhibitions will resonate with our students and our community as we look for ways in which we are all Responding to Environmental Crisis.

Each artist created a special print edition for this exhibition which area available for purchase here.
