Family Dinner Club

Mission Statement:

In the midst of our busy schedules and constant movement from place to place and class to class, it can be nice to just sit down and settle your thoughts. Sometimes this is best achieved over a meal, perhaps with a group of supportive fellow classmates who maybe share some of the same struggles as each other. When I first got to Westmont I missed cooking and preparing meals with my mom only to sit at the dinner table with my family and talk about our day. What a better way to bond then over a shared meal that everyone has helped to provide. In the Bible there are many instances where true fellowship takes place between people to deepen relationships. Even Jesus and his disciples sat and enjoyed many significant meals together that were pivotal in God’s overarching plan. This is a club everyone is welcome to come and join in preparing and eating Delicious meals together while bonding over our daily experiences.

Vision Statement:

Acts 2:46
This club will be a way for people to get to know people from all areas of campus and come together to break bread and eat together. We will give thanks for a meal provided on our table, a roof over our head, and for the people around us. As the year goes on we will have different food themed nights and even fun activities before or after we eat.

Club President:

Rachael Todd
