Housing Office Global Leadership Center
The Global Leadership Center is the newest residence hall on campus and comprises three separate buildings - the North and South are residence halls and the Center houses a classroom, seminar room, lounge, offices, and Ritchie's Coffee Shop. On each of the four residential floors, there are spacious community kitchens where students gather to cook and share meals together. The specific vision of the GLC is that it is a place where students are challenged to think about how the global education that they have received from Westmont can be translated into life-long global citizenship. While we play host to many events in our common spaces, some of our favorite programs are the Global Employability Seminar, the Sustainability Challenge, Flix Around the World, and the various global meal times where students share food and stories either from their home culture or time abroad.

Caleb Marll
Hi! I'm Caleb Marll, the Assistant Resident Director for the GLC. Originally from Spokane, Washington, I moved to Santa Barbara to attend Westmont in 2019. After graduating with a B.A. in Religious Studies, I stayed at Westmont as a staff member, first in Campus Life and now in Residence Life. I am passionate about walking alongside students as they seek to develop their unique giftings and grow into resilient, conflict-competent leaders.
