Six new members joined the board of trustees, four are Westmont alumni, including Denise Jackson ’78, Jordan Jackson ’89, Todd Mattson ’89 and Karen (Yttrup) Robilio ’90. Tremper Longman III, who taught at the college for nearly 20 years, and Roxanne Hughes Packham, who has served as an ex officio member of the board, are serving on the board as well. The new trustees, who serve three-year terms, had their first meeting in October.
“They all know the college well, and they’ve been active and valued members of our community,” says Gayle D. Beebe, president of Westmont. “I welcome their insights and appreciate the contributions they’ve already made and will continue to make.”
