Dr. Hayashida graduated from Westmont and earned a master’s degree and doctorate in physical therapy at Western University of Health Sciences. He joined the Westmont faculty in 2008. His clinical specialties include technological analysis, manual therapies and applied motor control and learning to optimize movement and prevent injury. He founded the Research Institute of Human Movement, which works with colleges to produce publications on human movement related to the quality of life and performance. He has started several other companies in the movement science industry and treats patients. His certifications include: Board Certified Specialist, Orthopedics; Board Certified Specialist, Sports; and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
