The Westmont Orchestra’s 2016 appearance at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., has led to an invitation to perform at the Musikverein, the fabled concert hall of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra on June 28, 2020, as part of the 250th celebration of Beethoven’s birth. In addition to playing in Vienna, the orchestra will present concerts in Salzburg (June 24) and Prague (June 30). Given the unusual timing, the Music Department has invited alumni to join students for this exciting opportunity to perform in an exclusive and acoustically marvelous concert hall.
