Thanks to a recent $1.3 million gift, Westmont has successfully matched a challenge grant from the Weingart Foundation of Los Angeles to create an interest-free loan fund benefitting graduates of California high schools. Begun in the late 1980s during the college’s last capital campaign, the program will now make $7,183,000 available to Westmont students who meet the criteria.
