When she served on staff at Westmont, Cathy Wallace McGrath ’84 worked on getting approval for the faculty housing project. Support from several thousand “Friends of Westmont,” played a key role in that victory. Now that she is occupied with her two-year-old son, Matthew, Cathy and her husband, John, have agreed to serve as co-chairs of the President’s Associates Steering Committee. They will help expand membership in this group, which includes donors who give $1,000 or more to Westmont each year. The opportunity to create a large network of people—like the Friends of Westmont—who support the college financially excites the McGraths.
