02/09/2011Thirty students competed for four full-tuition scholarships at Westmont during the two-day, 10th annual Monroe Scholarship Competition Feb. 4-5. The award is a four-year, full-tuition scholarship offered to a few high-achieving first-year students each year. It is the highest academic honor an incoming student may receive at Westmont. This year, the competition included students from Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Idaho and California. One student took part in the competition from France.
