Red Cross Club

Mission Statement:

The American Red Cross seeks to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. As an official Red Cross club, we seek to bring this mission to Westmont through student involvement. We plan to run 1-2 blood drives on campus a semester and to create service opportunities for Westmont students through our partnership with the American Red Cross.

Vision Statement:

We plan to host 1-2 blood drives each semester on Westmont's campus, as has already begun this year through the Red Cross Collegiate Leadership Program. We hope to have blood drives continue in the years to come and to create the framework for effective blood drives that can accrue as many donations on campus as possible with the role of more help through an official club. Farther down the road, we also seek to partner with the Red Cross further for additional community service opportunities and even Disaster Preparedness and Response.

Club President:

Siena Keck
