Caps and Gowns

All graduates are required to wear a cap and gown to march in either Baccalaureate or Commencement. Graduates will place their order for their cap and gown at the Senior Fair, which is held Wednesday, February 8, 2012, on the Dining Commons lawn from 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Cap and gowns can be purchased at the Senior Fair for $25 each. Graduates may keep their caps and gowns or return them to the cap and gown mobile (located in the Dining Commons parking lot) after the Commencement ceremony to be recycled.

If a senior must miss the Senior Fair, they may order their cap and gown in person in the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations, located upstairs in Kerrwood Hall, by February 24. The office will be open for cap and gown orders Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are out of the state/country and therefore cannot attend the Fair or come to campus, please contact the Alumni Office by email at alumni@westmont.edu or (805) 565-6056.

All seniors are encouraged to attend Senior Celebration, which will take place on Thursday, May 3. Immediately following this event, caps and gowns, Baccalaureate tickets, and one Commencement Parking Pass may be picked up at the event site, the Cabrillo Pavilion Arts Center, in the parking lot from 6-7 p.m. A student ID is required. The cap and gown truck will also be opened from 12 a.m.-6 p.m., on Baccalaureate Friday and from 8-8:30 a.m. on Commencement Saturday in the Dining Commons Lot.
