Born and raised wandering the hills of her family’s ranch in Livermore, California (aka San Francisco East Bay), Jada grew a deep curiosity for stories, exploration, and nature. While at Westmont, Jada studied English, explored every trail within walking distance to campus, played string bass in the Westmont Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble, and wrote as a staff writer for the Westmont Horizon. Jada made the most of the Westmont global studies programs spending her junior year abroad in England, Jerusalem, and San Francisco. Returning to campus, Jada supported students as a Peer Coach and navigated the transition to remotely completing her time as Westmont student. Currently, she’s happy to be back in Santa Barbara and is continuing learning Arabic and building her writing portfolio. To make an appointment with Jada click here.

Matt has remained at Westmont for the last three years as an admissions counselor. In 2020, he earned his Masters in School Counseling from Brandman University to fulfill his vocational passion for working with students. In his free time, Matt can be found playing basketball, throwing a frisbee at anyone who will catch it, chasing down cool shots with his camera, or playing Mario Kart with the best character (Yoshi).
